IT HAPPENED. After more than 2 years of “Come oooon, you’ll like it” “LOL nope, not my kind of game - unless you can shoot people and stuff”, it finally happened. I convinced my boyfriend.
Yesterday, he installed The Sims 3 and also played for a couple of hours!
(It was super weird to see how someone who has never played sims before just doesn’t “get” the game: “Why do I have to press CTRL? I just want to delete some wall paints. I’ll use the hammer tool. Huh? 4 hours to eat breakfast? Someone keeps calling me, why? How do I know when I have to go to work? WHAT IS BUY MODE?”)
EXTRA LULZ: The game loads faster on his computer. Like, really faster - which didn’t surprise me. But it kind of looks like shit because we couldn’t find the right 3D settings, for some reason. HAH!
